What we do
Programs
In our effort to achieve our mission and goals, we have put together innovative programs which are evolving.
Advocacy Projects
WAPSED advocacy projects include a bimonthly seminar where we bring experts to present papers and workshops on peace-building and security awareness. At the community level, we engage individuals and groups who teach people at the grassroots level the benefits of peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance, and how to keep their families safe.

Skill Acquisition Training
Designed for women and youth to equip them with the relevant vocational and technical training they need to set up micro and small-scale businesses. These include tailoring and fashion design, interior design, bead making, event management, computer education, snail and poultry farming, and other agro-allied businesses. Graduates are also equipped with business management basics to acquire the managerial and leadership skills they need to become successful entrepreneurs in a competitive environment. We plan to offer microfinance loans they can use to set up their businesses and pay it forward as their business grows.

End Hunger Campaign
An intervention and awareness program aimed at creating awareness on the need for every child to have access to food, especially during school hours. We provide food to pupils in selected public schools and orphanages and call on governments to provide meals to school children as obtained in developed countries.

Jolly Children's Week
Primarily focused on orphanages and underprivileged children. During this week we organize different programs that highlight the welfare needs of these children. The children are given an opportunity to participate in fun games that help them discover their innate talents and abilities and build self-esteem.

We need your help and support to accomplish these programs and create a better world.
Join us and create the change we need to see in our world. Give today and join our community of world changers.
